Why not Europe?  It's culturally diverse, beautiful, and completely lost.

Catey first became interested in Europe during her freshman year of high school.  She had one of the most important decisions to make--French class or Spanish class?  Chocolate Eclairs or Burritos?  Not liking Mexican food at the time, the decision was pretty easy (don't worry. . . she likes Mexican food now!).  After her sophomore year of high school, she had the most amazing opportunity to live with 3 different French families over a period of 5 weeks in the French region of Brittany.  It was one of the most life-changing events in her life; never before had she been so surrounded by such wonderful people who did not know God.  That summer was something she would never forget.

This passion for people, languages, cultures, and foreign food was easily picked up by Drew (he had no choice . . . if he wanted to keep Catey, he had to love those things too!).  The 9 months in Paris that Drew spent during Catey's studies was eye-opening for him, too, as he would read his Bible in Notre Dame and witness daily a very empty mass.

It was evident that in some way these two would do anything possible to make an impact in Europe for Christ.
